Killing an enemy with a fully charged sword will expend all its charge to permanently increase the weapon's damage. Charges can be lost over time or when receiving damage but a fully-charged sword always deals a critical hit. Located inside of the Blood & Wine DLC expansion, The Aerondight comes equipped with one of the most powerful abilities in the game. Each hit a player makes will generate charges which increase the sword damage by 10%.
